Terms of Service

Last updated: August 10, 2026 · These Terms govern your access to and use of QAI-vo (the “Service”). By creating an account, starting a session, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“you”, “user”) and the operators of QAI-vo (“we”, “us”, “our”). If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service. We may refuse service, close accounts, or cancel orders at our discretion where required to protect the Service, other users, or to comply with law.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction to use paid features. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information (including a valid email address used as your account identifier).
  • Keeping session credentials and devices secure; activity under your account is presumed to be yours.
  • Notifying us promptly at info@qai-vo.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Maintaining only one free-tier entitlement per person unless we expressly allow otherwise; creating multiple accounts to evade limits is a violation of these Terms.

We may suspend accounts that appear compromised, abusive, or used to circumvent plan limits.

3. Description of the Service

QAI-vo provides AI-assisted writing and research tools, which may include (depending on your plan and product updates):

  • Text humanization / rewriting across domains (e.g. academic, legal, finance, general) with configurable tone and intensity.
  • AI-risk / originality-oriented analysis and paragraph-level highlighting.
  • Related studio features such as paragraph “Fix” passes, research helpers, chat assistance, or presentation generation where enabled.
  • Usage-based word credits, plan tiers (including Free, Starter, Pro, Enterprise, and Unlimited), and payment checkout.

Features, limits, model routing, and UI may change as we improve the product. Beta or experimental features may be unstable and are provided “as is.”

4. Acceptable Use Policy

The Service is intended for legitimate academic and professional writing workflows— drafting support, stylistic revision, internal risk review, and related research tasks. You remain solely responsible for how you use outputs and for compliance with your institution’s, employer’s, publisher’s, or client’s policies.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for fraud, phishing, malware distribution, harassment, or other unlawful activity.
  • Run malicious automated spam, bulk scraping, credential stuffing, denial-of-service attempts, or any activity that degrades performance for others.
  • Bypass, disable, or interfere with credit metering, rate limits, authentication, or security controls.
  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the Service (or substantial parts of its prompts, models access, or non-public interfaces) except where mandatory law permits.
  • Submit content you do not have rights to process, or content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others.
  • Misrepresent QAI-vo outputs as human-authored work when disclosure is required by applicable rules (e.g. academic integrity or publisher AI policies).
  • Share paid account access in a way that circumvents per-user licensing (unless we offer an explicit multi-seat / team product you have purchased).

Violations may result in immediate suspension, credit forfeiture, and refusal of future service, without obligation to refund where allowed by law.

Academic Integrity Notice

AI Detector and Humanizer are designed to help you check and refine your own original work — for example, verifying that genuinely human-written text is not incorrectly flagged by AI detectors, or improving clarity and phrasing. They are not designed or intended to help you present AI-generated or AI-assisted work as entirely your own where that would violate the academic integrity, authorship, or AI-disclosure policies of your institution, publisher, or employer. QAI-vo makes no guarantee that Output will or will not be identified as AI-generated or AI-assisted by any third-party detection system. You are solely responsible for knowing and complying with the policies that apply to you.

5. Subscriptions & Credits

Access to paid capacity is sold as subscription plans that grant a pool of word credits (typically 1 credit ≈ 1 word processed, unless a feature states a different rate). Plans may also enforce maximum words per request and feature gates (e.g. VIP / priority options).

  • Billing cycles. Plans may be monthly or yearly. Word-credit pools generally reset on renewal of that cycle. Unused credits do not roll over indefinitely unless a specific plan description expressly says otherwise.
  • Non-transferability. Credits and plan entitlements are personal to your account. They may not be sold, gifted as a transferable balance, pooled across unrelated accounts, or exchanged for cash.
  • Free tier. Free allowances are limited and may change. Abuse of free quotas (including multi-accounting) may lead to suspension.
  • Unlimited plans. “Unlimited” refers to the word pool described on the pricing page for that tier, subject to fair use, rate limits, and anti-abuse rules. It does not mean unconstrained API scraping or resale of capacity.
  • Plan changes. Upgrades take effect according to our activation flow after successful payment or admin approval. Downgrades or cancellations may apply at the end of the current paid period unless stated otherwise at checkout.
  • Published prices, word quotas, and feature lists on /pricing control what you purchase; we may update the catalog prospectively for new purchases.

6. Payments & Billing

We may accept payment via card processors (currently Dodo Payments), PayPal, Sham Cash, or other methods shown at checkout (including a WhatsApp “Contact us” channel for cash / assisted purchase). Card payments are processed by the payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

  • You authorize us (and our processors) to charge the amounts shown at checkout for the selected plan and billing interval, including applicable taxes where collected.
  • Failed, reversed, or disputed payments may result in suspension of paid features until resolved.
  • Unless required by law or expressly stated in a promotion, purchase fees are generally non-refundable once credits or plan access have been delivered—especially after substantial usage. Contact support if you believe a charge was made in error.
  • Currency display and conversion may depend on your payment method and provider.

7. Manual Payments (PayPal / Sham Cash)

For PayPal, Sham Cash, or similar manual methods:

  • You must submit a valid transaction reference and/or receipt through the checkout flow.
  • Plan activation occurs only after admin verification. Review typically completes within one to two business days, but may take longer during peak volume or when documents are unclear.
  • Incomplete, forged, mismatched, or unreadable proofs may be rejected. Resubmission may be required; credits are not granted until approval.
  • “Contact us” / WhatsApp cash inquiries are conversational support channels—they do not automatically activate a plan until payment is confirmed under our normal approval process.

8. Your Content & Outputs

You retain ownership of text and files you submit (“Input”). Subject to the license below, you also own the rewritten or generated results returned to you (“Output”), to the extent permitted by law and third-party model terms.

You grant us a limited license to process Input solely to operate the Service for you (including transmission to subprocessors listed in the Privacy Policy). We do not claim ownership of your research content. As described in our Privacy Policy, submitted documents are processed on-the-fly and are not used to train public or private AI models for us.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit Input and that doing so does not violate law or third-party rights. You are responsible for reviewing Output for accuracy, plagiarism against sources you did not provide, citation integrity, and fitness for your purpose before publishing or submitting it elsewhere.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service—including software, branding, UI design, documentation, and non-user content—is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use QAI-vo trademarks except as needed to truthfully refer to the Service.

Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation to you.

10. Third-Party Services & Models

The Service depends on third parties such as payment processors (e.g. Dodo Payments, PayPal) and contracted AI infrastructure partners. Their availability, latency, pricing to us, and policies can affect the Service. Your use of those providers through us may also be subject to their terms.

We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or content decisions made by third parties outside our reasonable control.

11. Service Disclaimer (Detectors & Accuracy)

THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Risk scores, color bands (e.g. red / orange / green), “human-like” labels, and originality-oriented signals are probabilistic indicators only. They are not guarantees of undetectability, acceptance by journals, schools, employers, courts, or any third-party AI detector.

Third-party AI detectors update frequently. Accuracy varies by language, domain, document length, prompting style, and model version. QAI-vo does not warrant that Output will pass any specific external detector or institutional review. You assume all risk arising from reliance on scores or rewritten text.

We do not provide legal, academic integrity, medical, or financial advice. Features labeled for legal or finance domains are writing aids only.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL; OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW (E.G. FRAUD OR CERTAIN PERSONAL-INJURY CLAIMS).

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless QAI-vo and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your Input or use of Output; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of law or third-party rights; or (d) misuse of the Service under your account.

14. Suspension & Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if needed to protect the Service or other users.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Sections that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.

15. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify features, pricing for new purchases, credit schedules, or these Terms. Material changes to Terms will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date on this page and, where appropriate, by notice in the product or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
