Finance / Bank Reconciliation
Reconciles your bank statement against your books through six matching passes — strongest evidence first — and refuses to call the reconciliation done unless the unexplained difference is exactly zero. No plugging, no forcing a balance.

How it works
Who it's for: Staff accountants, bookkeepers, and outsourced controllers closing the cash book each month.
Upload CSV or Excel (.xlsx). Excel is converted to the table the engine expects — no need to paste JSON.
Bank statement
Required · No file selected
Columns: date, description, amount (signed: + in, - out), check_no (optional).
Book / GL
Required · No file selected
Same shape as the bank file: date, description, amount, check_no (optional).
Classifications
Optional · No file selected
Fill in after your first run: download the unmatched-items file, add a classification per row (deposit_in_transit, outstanding_check, book_error, unrecorded_bank_debit, unrecorded_bank_credit, bank_error, or unidentified), then upload it here and run again.
Prior-period outstanding items (optional)
Optional · No file selected
Items still outstanding from last period's reconciliation (date, description, amount, check_no) — lets the engine tell a genuinely new item from one that's been open for months.
These map to the upstream engine flags. Edit them to match your files (defaults are demo values).
Scoped to this service. AI explains verified results; accounting compute stays in the analysis engine.
Example: “Run the analysis and explain what still needs attention.”
